I certainly don’t take qualification for granted, for the record. I just expect more from us. Costa Rica has averaged like 0.8 goals per game in the Oct and are beating us 2-0 right now. That’s just shitty.

Keep in mind this is a team without McKennie and Dest.
I did hope we could perform better against a lesser Costa Rica team and finish above Mexico, but there’s still a lot to be optimistic about.

Whelp Vegas took some money from me tonight. That's what I get for assuming anything different in San Jose.
And for those talking about this team playing like this in the WC, there's a huge difference in playing in an international tourney somewhere vs playing a CONCACAF qualifier in Costa Rica or Panama.
