Pretty bullshite own goal. It was a rocket that got past the keeper. Dumb to rob someone of a WCQ goal.

They ruled that because it was off the post and wouldn’t have gone in if the keeper wasn’t standing there. But the keeper was smoked on that play. Just let it slide.

How is it bullshite? Ball was traveling away from the goal when it hit the keeper and caused it to go in. Yeah, it sucks to not get credit for it but that is pretty clear an own goal.

I'm fairly certain that in the NCAA that would be credited as a goal to the shot taker

Was talking to my Mexican coworker about this game, and he said even they are scared of traveling to El Salvador. Said the US players must absolutely shite a brick there.
