It was on the rebound. Acosta kicked his hand going for the ball.

Can the US send its staff over to look at him instead of those Vodoo docs from Jamaica

As someone who has broken both of my wrists, the way his hand was spasming like that looks like a break to me. Maybe broken fingers, at best.

It's extremely painful. Hope it doesn't derail a very promising career.

It looked like Blake was trying to punch the ball. That would only make the impact with Acosta worse.

How you build a $1 billion stadium and can't figure out how to grow turf is beyond me.

You beat me to it, so at least I don't look completely bitter

I think it's broken fingers or maybe a wrist. Acosta hit the ball into his hand from inches away.

Def broken bones In the hand by the way it was shaking from the trauma. I texted my dad right before the game started to "watch this keeper, he over dramatizes saves and doesn't knock the ball wide properly when he can't catch it." .... unfortunately that just led to a bad situation for him, hope he recovers quickly

Apparently it's been a problem since 2015. CONCACAF shouldn't have decided to host a match in stadium that can't grow grass.

Why do they show goalscoring stats for defenders? No one cares that Bessler has 1 goal in 44 appearances.

Tell that CONCACAF who expected this place to be filled with Mexicans.

I haven't watched Jamaica or Philly enough to know if this is a consistent problem, but it was certainly the case in that instance. It's unfortunate that the ensuing scramble led to him getting injured.
