I think a lot of people who are critical of USMNT efforts are much more lenient when it comes to rivals.

This is the first chance for us to really set the tone for us moving forward.
Yeah the 2019 Gold Cup, but Jozy and Bradley were still in the fold then. This is the first true chance for this current generation to fully shoulder the expectations that come with playing Mexico.
