It doesn't really matter. The US doesn't deserve to qualify if they can't beat Panama and Trinidad and Tobago in our last two matches.

bold prediction not even knowing the group. We've made it out of the group 3 of the last 5 world cups and we've had some tough groups. If you watch these last two games in a vacuum and think we are so shite that we won't get a point against as of yet unknown opponents a year from now, well, I'm just not going to waste my time arguing that kind of obtusiveness.

Yeah, basically the US needs to beat Panama at home and beat Trinidad on the road to guarantee qualification. Sounds easy, but so does getting more than 1 point this round.

There are at least 6 guys that make our first choice 11 that didn't start last night. 7 if you include wood.
Howard, Cameron, Yedlin, Johnson, Altidore, Brooks will all start the first match in Russia if fit.
