If you fire Gregg who replaces him? He’s a great motivator and recruiter like Coach O but god damn we look lost offensively.
I mean, they won't fire him, we're going to qualify and that's how low the bar is set for us right now considering the 2018 disaster.
If McBride and Earnie were proactive though, they'd realize that this is the most talent we've ever had and it's not being used to its best abilities.

our player pool, to be fair, is very overrated.
Our team is collectively more talented than anybody in CONCACAF, and it’s not even close.

Because Gregg is terrible and our player pool, to be fair, is very overrated.
People overestimate the strength of our team.
No one is in form except Aaronson and McKennie.
We have poor depth.
Everyone is young. No one who played today, except Pulisic, had played in WCQ before this cycle.
We have the youngest team in the world.
But we need a more coherent game plan in the attack. More movement off the ball, diagonal runs, and quick passing.
We need a fricking reliable striker.
I’m trying to be realistic here (and not fall into doom and gloom every time a young, inexperienced team fails to create a result), but god damn it has to get better.
ETA: if you disagree with the above say why so we can discuss it

It’s too late in the cycle to fire him. At this point your only option would be Bob Bradley

Canada understands what it takes to qualify through CONCACAF.
We used to - but sometime last decade we gave that up.
Playing pretty soccer doesn't get you qualified. Playing tough soccer does.

I’ve seen us play tough as a team, but at some point we have to be more direct and stop passing it around the box and then crossing to no one. I feel like I’m watching Arsenal from the end of Wenger’s tenure.

Why did we not call up Joe Scally again? He injured?

Coaching matters people. From U-10 to Real Madrid, a poor coach will frick you harder than Mandingo

Pretty much. Our plan is "dribble past somebody out wide and then we'll figure it out."
Slow down Pulisic (or let him do it himself) and we're out of ideas.

That’s a great description. Also next time I’m in Montreal, I will seek my revenge on any toilet I encounter

I don’t think so. We beat Panama at home the next window and that should book our ticket (assuming we beat Honduras)

If Costa Rica manages to beat Mexico, things could get interesting

Panama fails to capitalize on their own PK opportunity to equalize Jamaica's successful PK

Let's bring back the 4-2-2-2 empty bucket ya heard!
We need forward players who can bully the opposing team again. Jozy, for all his faults, bullied CBs. Even a player like Brian Ching was able to twerk the Central American midgets a bit, but he also was good at the gamesmanship. If our strategy is to get wide and cross, then having a striker who is a handful for CBs, even if that striker isn't a clinical finisher, will create enough chaos for other players.
