We have to get more creative, Nagbe needs to start.

And the refs have been horrible. It still doesn't change the fact that we played about as bad as we could and only gave up a penalty shot and a set piece.
Dunno about that.
We looked inept but not Guatemala bad

Missed the first half..but we look terrible.
Bradley playing awful. No flow from anyone. Looks like 11 individuals flying around with no game plan. Dempsey's free kick is about the only decent thing I have seen this half. Zardes' first touch is still a horse hoof. Pulisic looked solid in his cameo. Bedoya looked good minus the skied chance. Defense looks disheveled, no connectivity there. Nagbe looked eaten by the moment.
Guzan made a couple decent charges in the 2nd half, but got very lucky that one hit the bar. Out of everyone though, he played the best from what I saw
Edit: reading everyone shitting on bradley is hilarious. He looked like a world class #6 against Ecuador just a few days ago. He is the best player in our entire pool. He just happened to have an awful game. It happens.

It would help a lot if we had someone who could hold the ball up top
Who needs that when you have Deuce to glower while he tries to juke fools.

Time to earn your fricking paycheck, Jurgen. You charlatan.

Meh. We looked superior in the 1st half. Columbia slept walked through the the 1H and were lucky to be ahead.
The first 20 mins of the 2nd half were horrible and it set the tone for the rest of the game tho.

According to previous answers to my question, why would it be almost even money line bet if Colombia was far superior? Did they not send their best players?

Tonight, almost nothing. However, a terrible match does not mean that he should be banished
He was awful. Shouldn't be banished, but we needed help in the middle and he was completely absent. Almost as if the Colombians were paying him, that's how bad he played. Should've been taken out about ten minutes into the second half.
But it wasn't all on him. We, predictably, got our heads kicked in. We just aren't very good and Klinsmann seems unable to figure it out.

They looked inept in the final 3rd, we are severely missing Jozy

I know nothing of Colombia. Who was favored in this match?
Fifa World Rankings:
Colombia 3
USA 31

yeah the jones/bradley/bedoya midfield lacks any creativity and puts us in an offensive hole
if we had legit attacking winger talent starting, then we could possibly use a target man up top and try to feed them, but we have zardes and wood? meh

Jozy would have had a hard time tonight considering the performances of Bradley, Jones, Zardes, and Bedoya.
Nothing happened on Colombias side.

I'd prefer Jozy to no Jozy, but I'm just not convinced he's of difference-making caliber in against significant international competition

No, we've seen this sh*t all too often since the world cup, where we didn't play nearly as bad. What happened between then and now? I don't know how many times the ball was given up passing the ball to people who weren't even there. If it can get worse than that then God help us.

There were a couple bad calls. Bedoya's yellow seemed ticky tack as frick. It wasn't that bad, though.
