This loss isn't so bad if you think about it. US lost to a good team. Mexico is a really good team.
If the team had lost to Haiti or Cuba then the melt would be justified.

You're talking about a side that only qualified for the World Cup because we didn't just let a game end.

This game shouldn't have even been played. The loss is bad. We were gifted a shite Mexico team in the Gold Cup and decided to throw a bunch of random guys out there instead of trying to win it.

I thought Altidote played some games in World Cup. What about Julian Green thought he was a next great one.

Altidore got hurt like 25 min into the first game.

Green is back with Bayern after a terrible loan spell and is back with their youth team.

I'm just trying to save you here when I say this, but you may want to sit this one out for awhile so people don't jump on your arse.

I'm just trying to learn. I don't need the dumbass calls. I don't watch soccer except World Cup. I didn't remember slot of the names. Maybe he should be a little bitch and more may follow this board. F soccer.

Clearly you don't know much about Mexican soccer.

I'll just leave you with this; Mexico is a talented team that plays to win. This was a good match for the manager and the team to rebuild.

Sorry Champ, we are usually a pretty welcoming group. Now is just a really bad time. Caple doesn't even post here regularly anymore.

Hey man I understand, if you want you can ask in a different thread, I and I'm sure many others will answer whatever you want to know. But if you want to learn this thread isn't the place to do it.

I'm on your side here.

A shite Mexican team?? I honestly don't understand why people feel like this game was going to be a breeze.

Has anyone considered that random players were chosen because other players may have been injured in the leagues that they play in? These players play other games other than play for the US team.

Did the same team play in both works cup and this? If u play in this is ur roster spot secured for World Cup? And why not Julian green? Lol I liked him.

I don't think anyone truly believes Mexico are a shite side. They're shite because we've dominated them in recent years, especially under Jurgen. Losing is just something we haven't felt in several years.

They were definitely a shite side in the Gold Cup. That's what I'm talking about. Tonight shouldn't have even been necessary. Jurgen didn't treat it like it mattered.

Green is just that... Green. He isn't very good right now. Sure, he's good for a 20 year old, but he's not good enough for this team. He didn't even play at all last year, which is a wasted year of development.

There was a lot of overlap between the players playing at the WC and the players playing in this game.

This has nothing to do with the WC

There is a cup competition for our region played every 2 years, and the winners from the past two competitions had to play each other in this game. The winner of this game gets to play in a world cup warm up tournament held the year before the WC, called the confederations cup.

Also, please type better than a teenage girl and people will probably be nicer

Can we really even say this, though?

He's been a star of the Bayern development system, and is probably better than 99.99% of all American 20 year olds, so yes, we can.
