Can you really say they’re inclusive at this point? It seems like they intentionally try not to reach mainstream sports fans.

Our miracle last minute comeback against Jamaica saved GGG. No miracles today. Time for a new manager.

I don't put the onus for all the inclusivity on the players one bit. I'd have to guess they're just doing what comes down from the top.

The issue is that the USSF is a fricking joke led by a bunch of out of touch clowns. US soccer will never amount to shite unless the USSF house is cleaned.

Baw, you asked a question, I answered.

Don't be mad because you forgot about one of the biggest soccer matches in the last decade.

Sporting News article perfectly somes up the end of that game.

As Tim Weah brought the U.S. back level on the hour mark, it appeared the U.S. may have a chance to get a result against an opponent amid a strong 21-match unbeaten streak. Instead, they withered amidst a host of substitutions in the final third of the friendly, conceding a trio of hilariously poor goals on giveaways that even amateurs would know to avoid.

The US is going to flub hosting the World Cup in 26, aren't they?

Gotta get rid of Burkhalter

You and cwill can continue to defend this dogshit team. You probably wanted Les Miles to stay forever. This is the most talent we’ve ever had at the national level and we are pissing it away with Gregg. It’s sad.

This Columbia team went through a pretty rough experience not making the 22 World Cup and they did a full restart. This group of Columbians have been playing constantly together and doing it well.

Meanwhile, USA hired a worthless, non tactical fired ex coach and outfitted them in gay uniforms.

I will never watch a US Women's soccer game again in my life, after what they turned into politically wise.

And now here we are with the men headed in same direction. I will mot watch any games they have gay uniforms. And likely due to them hiring a washed up fired coach there is no reason to follow them thru WC 2026. I know the outcome already and its going to set US soccer back decades after they fail at home WC.

Will watch pro leagues overseas and thats about it. Another institution ruined by radical leftists imprinting their beliefs on the common fan. And a crooked board who hired the worst coach we had after they fired him.

That about sums up where I’m at. Disgusted at US Soccer period.

Klinsmann revisionism will never cease to amaze me. He routinely played players out of position much to the chagrin of everyone on this board and generally looked like dogshit in competitive games. FFS we got outshot by Haiti 21-6, at HOME, and also lost to Guatemala in World Cup qualifying and also needed a 90th minute winner against fricking Antigua and Barbuda to advance from the early rounds. The WC knockout round against Belgium we faced 38(!) shots, 26 on target. Against Colombia in the copa america we had two shots on goal to their 7. We had zero shots period, and a measly 32% possession, against Argentina. He then lost the locker room and tanked our qualification for 2018. We were not competitive against big teams in meaningful matches and frankly outside of the grit generations of 2010 and 2002 we’ve never looked competitive against non Mexico top 10-15 sides. What were his marquee wins in competitive matches? Scraping by Ghana completely against the run of play with a stoppage time goal? Klinsmann was not a good coach and his record since getting the boot from our program is reflective of that.

So I didn’t watch but it looks like we conceded some real shite goals at the end. We were being battered before then or do those last few goals flatter Colombia a little more than it should?

Yet no one can name one marque game this current coach has won since back. And don’t say a depleted and bad Mexico. And I might add, having the best group of players available. Every starter yesterday plays for a top 5 Euro team.

I still can’t fathom anyone sticking up for this current disaster of a coach. And I put some blame in Pulisic too. If he didn’t publically support him that would go a long ways but my guess is he doesn’t want to make waves. If he says something negative and they fire him then everyone would blame him if it didn’t go well. But as Captain he likely needs to speak out as its already mostly too late in cycle.

I just want us to punch above our weight occasionally. Klinsmann's teams did so beating the Netherlands, Germany and Italy on the road. Making it to the semi's in Copa. The best outcomes that we can point to under Gregg is consistently beating the worst Mexican generation team that we have seen and a tie against England. I am not hoping for a return of Klinsmann I am hoping for a coach that creates a team with a chip on its shoulder.

Listen to the interview with Chris Richards and Matt Turner, when Michael Camerman breaks into the question and lowers the expectations for Copa its eye opening. At some point we have taken on the attitude of US Soccer that we should not aim high.

That interview on Youtube. 11.35

We were playing well the last 25 mins of the first and probably the first 20ish of the second. Columbia wasn't bombing the goal by any means, but once that 3rd goal came we completely folded. If you watch the goal highlights on YouTube you're gonna be sick. The effort and fundamentals disappeared.
