touch, tonight for sure, isn’t any better than Jozy.

His touch is far worse than Jozy’s Lol. He has the touch of a rapist. Or a concrete wall. How can you not see that

if he’s gonna be the veteran starting striker he needs be better or it’s time to start grooming younger players before ‘22

Yet you keep mentioning Zardes.

Isn’t LB what Lima plays for club?

He was exclusively a RB until this season. Tommy Thompson is their starting RB now for some reason.

So genuinely that much worse than a bigtime SEC road game?

Anybody got a link to the second half? The foxsports app replay ends before the rain delay is over.

Are you that dense, I am REPLYING, and addressing the questions asked, I don't think either should be on the roster, but I personally prefer the attack and the way the offense plays when Zardes is on the field than Jozy's lazy arse

Gyasi is so bad with the ball that Berharlter built his system in Columbus around making sure Gyasi never touched the ball outside the 18.

Imagine being so soccer-illiterate that you think our best striker shouldn’t be on the roster. It’s something to see.

Also, I was disappointed in Miazga last night. His effort seemed poor, he gave up that goal way too easily, and he had a few really bad giveaways in our own half.

I’ve been advocating him to start but I’d be more comfortable with Long/Zimmerman in the final at this point.

Wut??

If Jozy is your #1 and and Zardes is #2, how is that not scary? Maybe they should look at getting some of these younger players some 1st team tournament experience before qualifying starts

Gold Cup victories don't really mean anything in Berhalter's job security, or overall fan interest but it's damn sure more important than the U-20 WC outcomes.

I wish the USMNT had played in Russia and boycotted Qatar instead of the other way around.

Scrapping for deflections off of piss poor touches rather than legit good hold up play to feed our German groomed thoroughbred attackers?

Gyasi is a decent change of pace coming off the bench and nothing more. He should be #2 until someone else comes up through the ranks within the next 2 years.

We have lots of new starters. We will need all of that time for them to figure out how to play well together and to solidify our starting 11. Plus qualifying matches start next year for 2022.

Which is why this is not the time to start grooming young players that aren't even playing for their club.

After they start getting regular playing time and show that they deserve to be near our best 23? And the USMNT isn't where players should be groomed.

The focus now should be getting a system in place and figuring out who should be in the 2-deep right now.

As disappointed as I am with Sargent not being on the roster, I don’t think he could have played the number of minutes this tournament that Zardes did, simply due to form/match fitness. That means Jozy would have played more and probably blown a hammy.

Sargent isn’t getting first team minutes at Hanover?

Are you really gonna make the argument that if Weah can’t crack the starting 11 at PSGs first team, so he couldn’t start in the MLS?

Now who sounds dumb as frick?
