McKenzie and Scally looked so foolish on that one

That was so bad by our defense and Turner. Turner definitely redeemed himself tho

I give props to Jamaica for actually having grass, but this field looks extremely slow.

Sometimes I wonder if these CONCACAF fields are always this bad or do they just let it go to shite against us like Notre Dame did that one year to try and slow Reggie Bush down......... Then I remember it's CONCACAF countries

Somebody sell me on Tillman being able to play at this level, I never see it in these games

Ya, most stadiums just water the grass to make it fast.
Concacaf countries waterlog them to make them slow.

Looks like a fricking goat field, but it's Jamaica. It probably is on weekdays.

I get that Jamaica is a desperately poor country. with that being said, how many dollars do they receive annually from FIFA? from CONCACAF? from the US government? I refuse to believe an island in the tropics with the perfect climate for bermuda or tiff eagle grass is beyond even the Jamaicans. this isn’t Haiti
a field in Jamaica should be like playing on the 18th green at Augusta with minimal effort. hell I bet if they asked nicely the USSF would send a team of agronomists to do it for them. I just don’t get it

You do know how much effort goes into the 18th green. It’s easy to get grass to grow in that climate but managing it isn’t cheap or easy.

The amount of divots on the field is impressive

Musah doing decent in that role. Hope he takes the space more.

Ya, you already know that money disappears as soon as they get it.

I don’t really watch the Bundesliga, but Scally has a good resume.
However, he always looks bad whenever I watch him on the USMNT.

I missed the Cardoso injury. How serious did it look?

Crazy the the US charged FIFA and CONCACAF executives in federal court for racketeering, extortion and money laundering and won and we are still dealing with Jack Warner and Chuck Blazer levels of frickery.

I’m fully aware, and being hyperbolic. but if we’re going to get technical, the grass that Augusta uses on its greens flourishes in tropical climates. by minimal effort, I mean a national federation having a grounds department whose sole focus is making sure their national stadium has a field that looks better than the LSU golf course after a storm

Kinda crazy that 9 of the 22 starters of this game were born in England.
