Senegal adjusted after the water break. Figured out the spaces we were pushing in the midfield, took it wide when they won possession, and knew that we are weak in the center of the box on defense.

It’s good to see that we held our own against Senegal, but we have to be SO much better in our passing if we want to have any chance against the mid and upper tier squads in two weeks.

ETA: And for the love of all that is holy, can we close out a first half lead going into the break?!

I'll tell you one thing, you can never question Pulisic's effort. Dude gives 110% every possession. Some of the other guys in mid and defense, not so much.

I don't want to take too much from this match in terms of projecting how well we'll do in the World Cup, considering one of our pre-WC friendlies in 2022 was a 3-0 win over Morroco.

It's good to see a healthy Dest though and it's refreshing to see us play with some intention in the box, instead of just dinking it around looking for the perfect shot that is never there. Seen that too many times under Gregg and Poch with this generation.
