No one has said it because how fantastic hes been since hes got here, but having Bruno pinholed into the lineup as a 10 limits what Ole can do tactically, and quite frankly we dont have guys capable of running a two man midfield. Pogba is my favorite player but we know hes not going to put in the effort. McFred puts in all the effort but neither of them are spatially aware. In Ole’s Defense he wanted a DM this summer until we went in for Ronaldo, which in turn pushed us further up the pitch in terms of relying on individual brilliance

Guys, everyone needs to calm down. Ole has got this. Everyone was so doom and gloom down 2-0 at home, but then Ole struck gold. The players finally started playing the right way. I'm happy he's the manager and wish him the best of luck to continue in these winning ways.

Ole is in our hearts. He owns Pep. He's the better manager for sure.

Cavani
Ronaldo-Fernandez - rashford
Pogba- Fred/mctominay
Shaw-Maguire-varane-WBS
De gea
Should be the default lineup with sancho, martial, greenwood, vdb, telles, dalot and matic as rotation pending form, injuries and competitions. Need an upgrade or two at the double pivot.
Upgrade at manager also needed but that doesn’t look like it’s happening.

I’m so confused what a red card is now
Did Pogba go in with 2 feet? Yea. But both feet hit the ball. There are so much more forceful tackles that don’t get calls like that.
And the fact the announcers agreed it should be red baffled me even more

Right foot was clearly too high

Seems pretty obvious to me that his right foot was too high

You must not watch much soccer. Studs up through a players ankles is always a red.

too high
The threshold for too high seems to keep getting lower and lower. He wasn’t even on top of the ball his foot properly hit the ball in the top half. If Keita doesn’t go down like that no one would blink twice at the challenge

He didn’t go through his ankle though, Pogba beat Keita to the ball and instead of jumping out of the way Keita left his foot there and went down. Like I said before, if Keita just realizes he’s second to the ball and backs out of the challenge no one would blink twice at what Pogba did. And I don’t know why you were trying to be funny but yes I watch (and play) a lot of soccer

His studs literally hit Keira’s ankle. Doesn’t matter if “Keita didn’t get out of his way”, that’s absurd.

Definitely a hard and dangerous foul, but harsh for a red. Definitely looks a lot worse slowed down on replay.

Yes, Keita should have realized the tackle was coming and simply hopped out of the way.

They are going to call double foot studs up every time.

I just don’t understand how he’s been in charge for 3 years and it just seems like MU still don’t have an identity as a team. It’s just a constant frick it lets see how this works hopefully our talent big dogs them.

Yup, intent and the result of the tackle doesn’t matter. It’s dangerous play and will be a red everytime.
