This 1000%. Hell, this thread has mentions of wanting a back up fullback capable of starting when it’s likely there’s 10-15 matches a season for that player.
Also, our wage structure was mentioned later. I believe we have the highest wage in the EPL.
Anyway. The real reason I came was to see discussion of the new cb from Red Bull.

Ibrahima Konate
Supposedly a five year deal is agreed to in principle.

I mentioned our wage structure, not total wages. Haaland coming in and likely demanding higher wages than Salah or VVD would be incredibly detrimental and could destabilize the dressing room, as well as set a bad precedent for future transfers. United have had problems for years now with their wage structure and it’s why players like Fred are on 120k a week and Martial is on 250k a week. This can create huge issues on a number of levels at a club.
We handle things well as it is, I don’t want any large scale signings coming in and ruining the framework of our transfer strategy. I’m not saying I wouldn’t be excited if FSG signed Haaland, of course I would. But it’s not necessary, we’re capable of winning without players of that stature, and it’s why I don’t think FSG need to sacrifice the foundation of the sport for more cash.

If this is true, I like the signing a lot. He has it all. I’ve watched him at least a dozen times at Leipzig and the only thing missing is experience. He has the occasional lapse but at his age it is to be expected.

Liverpool have had 146 shots at Anfield in 2021 and have scored 4 goals.

Which one of their CB's had that awful error that led to one of our very rare goals?

Konate. The guy we signed. He had 2 or 3 in that second match

Nah, that was Upamecano. He’s going to Munchen in the summer.

Excellent results this weekend, lads!
Won against Soton, West Ham lost to Everton, and Newcastle beat Leicester City.
Best thing about that? We have a game in hand on them both, and Leicester’s upcoming matches are against Man U, Chelsea, and Tots. If they drop points in two of those and we win out, we have Europa at minimum.
Bad news: West ham play Brighton, West Brom, and Soton to end the season.
Would be REAL nice if West Ham imploded. Their form recently isn’t great, meanwhile their three opponents have all had minimum of two to three good showings in their last five matches.
This thing is going to come down to the last day if we do our part!

I'm sure it's all dependent on if man u wins the Europa League and possibly Chelsea/ city winning champions league and theyre all ranked top 4 already

I don’t believe so. I think the only way you can have 5 teams in Europe is if someone outside of the top 4 places wins a european final.

C’mon boys!!!!! We just won at Old Trafford and we are on Page 2???!!!

I am in a win-win situation.
I love the Liverpool squad, so if they make Top 4 (CL) or 5 (Europa) I am happy.
But if they don't, you millenial or post-millenial little leftist pussies are sad and unhappy and that is AMAZING and HAPPY to me.
So frick yeah to me...

Dude, no one cares...
Your decision to support a left-leaning, socialist football club (city) is quite funny..

I think he claimed to stop supporting certain clubs after they took a stand against racism. He's just a sad, hateful little guy.
