Pretty sure he just took a ball to the nuts though, like unless it's something worse, I wouldn't expect him to miss much more than one match
But yeah, 2nd half was not good at all, I mean it is what it is, but they lost that ruthlessness we saw last week

I really hope Thiago was sincerely not fit today. Because if Klopp sat him against a Sam side that is unreal. The only gripe I have ever had about Klopp is that he has never figured out these types of managers. This was tailor made for Thiago so I hope he wasn’t ready.

I mean they said he wouldn't play again until early 2021 so not surprised he didn't play... Probs not up to speed 100% but if we had dominated they probably could have snuck him in for 15 or so

Thiago back on the bench today, hope he gets at least a few minutes to ring in the new year!

Definitely not looking sharp today. Not having good feelings about this one.

Desperate need of a spark, Thiago and Ox maybe. We cannot survive England or Europe with one of the kids playing significant minutes at CB. Scares the shite out of me.

Last two matches have not been pretty, apparently we used up all of our clinical finishing against Palace

Really annoying. Not like the chances weren’t there, props to their keeper for some great saves. Have to get results in games like this, hope Klopp lights a fire under their asses.

Thiago is a ball magician. Glad he’s back.

This is ridiculous... If we dont address CB in Jan, shame on us... we dont deserve the title.. Honestly, I'm surprised we didnt have something lined up for 1/1..
2 MF's playing CB??
I love Hendo, but at CB? I'd rather ride with RW or NP..

I know I am arm chair managing here, but surely there should be a spot of Rhys or Nat Phillips at CB? Almost as if Klopp is trying to prove his insane brilliance
After my initial response, Ive read a few people say with Soton's high press, perhaps Klopp values Hendo's ball playing ability over defending for this match...
Fair enough... We shall see...

One goal in the last 3 games is not ideal. We need Jota back badly.

Worst 3 match spell I’ve seen in a long time considering the competition.

The journos on merseyside are starting to wonder if the tactics have been "figured out"
I know that sounds ridiculous, but the front 3 have been together since 2017, there is a lot of tape to study there when it comes to their movement. We really miss Jota running from deeper on the pitch and joining those attacks. His movement opens a lot of things up. I didn't watch much of the match today, but it sounds like Mane was pretty wasteful in the final third...which honestly is more of a Salah trait lately. He either buries it into the net or turns the ball over it seems, no in between with Mo.
It's harsh judgment given the injury situation, but that midfield and attack is about the best 6 we can put on the pitch and they just aren't putting the ball in the net.
