Thought Gini was pretty underrated in this match too. Beginning of the season I was sort of indifferent as to whether he stuck around, likely due to the Thiago signing, but now I’m reconsidering. He has a motor that just don’t quit.

Henderson was solid too. Hell everyone was. The only two chances they created were one offs and Son and that other dude are fast as well. Was always going to be a risk without Virgil. We could have easily had 3-5 goals.

He does have “it” but in a very non diva like way. He has the flair of a Brazilian that has made his mark with unselfishness, insane work rate and sacrificing his personal stay sheet for his teammates to thrive. That just doesn’t happen these days. If he was an NBA player he would have pouted to get traded or if he was at LSU would be in the Transfer Portal.

It's been going around for about a week now, but with Ox, Milly and Thiago coming back... It doesn't make sense in Jan... Even if Gini doesn't re-sign, no way can I see us letting him leave in Jan.
I think he's a really good player who has revived his career in France, so I wouldn't be opposed at all...
The rumor I am keeping an eye on is the Eder Militao one.. possibly on loan from Real Madrid (He isn't getting PT)... He was highly thought of coming out of Porto and a loan with option to buy deal would be choice (if he sucks, send him back.. if he's good, we need to bring in a young CB)..
