Thanks man, I think you're right. I thought he was telling me I'm in the wrong thread at first, but Zaba is good people, so my afternoon beers seem to have affected my judgement.

I love that we can nit pick 9 points and zero goals allowed from three games. Shows how far we have come from Hicks & Gillette, Hodgson, Christian Poulsen and Sebastian Coates.

Yeah I’d like to give Clyne a start.

What a player Gomez is becoming!

Wouldn’t mind bringing in Shapiri instead of Hendo as the standard 65 minute sub. I think he is a game changer.

the hell? Why can't we complete simple passes?

They were cheating our passing lanes pretty well.

We missed quite a few passes because they were just bad passes.

Yeah, Milner, Keita, Gomez, etc. must be fricking exhausted from the World Cup.

It's unfortunate that we couldn't have had a month's worth of preseason games.

We have become some nitpicking mothers on here.....which is a really good sign. Gini has been fantastic so far in his “new” spot. And I hope no one tells Milner he is supposed to be slowing down.

ke I read someone say... I'd rather play Gomez and live with the mistakes, knowing that they will help him grow and improve, than play Lovren and have the mistakes, knowing thats just his level of play..

Amen Brother.I still think Joe and TAA have some issues with their immediate read of a ball in the air, but Joe played a really good game yesterday. Its 3 games, but his consitency in those three games has been at Lovren's best level but without (knock on wood) the Lovren brain farts.

Gini played great, but Milner was fantastic. Dude had like 8 fouls but never picked up the card. Probably gets that english boring guy benefit of the doubt from the Refs.

It was interesting to watch the press unfold (not just on the goal but other times as well). It was almost like a trap. Front 3 left a target (it was usually the same player) "open" to receive a pass but were already in position to close down his passing lanes. Milner (or Keita a couple of times) would then press him as soon as
the pass was made to him. With his back towards our goal, he didn't have a lot of options and we were closing him down.

So Brighton had the choice of either long ball it up to VVD to take care of, or trying to pass it through our trap. Thats how you control a game.

Man, been kinda tuned out because it's a fantasy football draft weekend for me... But just saw city drew, and reading this thread, we're definitely doing some serious nitpicking.

Feels good being top of the league after 3 weeks

TAA wasn't at his best yesterday, but just watched a clip of that volleyed, cross field pass that dropped right on to Mo's left foot..

So, what is everyone thinking? With the flat performance this week, does Klopp shake it up this week or keep the status quo going into the Int'l break??

I'd probably ride this lineup one more week...

I do think once cup comps (Europe/domestic) start up, we will see more squad rotation..

I’d give Clyne a game and plan to bring Shaqiri in at the 60 min mark. Other than that I’d go with the same line up.

From Liverpool Reddit, if Liverpool players were female:

Albie and Hendo are hot.

Gini is the nicest girl in school.

Robbo is the cute girl next door.

TAA is the girl in school that always helps you with your homework.

Naby and VVD are those "ladies" that are on-call for your "specialty" needs.

Dejan is that cute girl in school that is always moody and never happy.

Migs is your best friend's ex-wife who has decided to become a total slut after the divorce.

Shaqiri is the last girl left at the bar at the end of the night.

Becker is the girl who is trying really hard to start that modeling career.

Sadio is... Sadio.

Milly is the girl you think is nice but then you date her and discover she's bat-shite crazy.

Studge is the Mom who brings all the orange/apple slices and juice boxes for the kids after football practice.

I'm coming up blank for Bobby and Mo.

Its hard to see any changes.

Maybe Clynne for TAA due to his 3 yellow cards, but even then, if he gets suspended you put in clynne once he's suspended.

On paper, Hendo for Wij or may Milner, but both of those have played so well thus far its hard to take them out.

And frankly, Hendo is a nice bench option. He had a few bursting close downs last week once he came on fresh that were good to see.

The only reason I would envision a change is if Klopp feels he wants to get his best XI together (and I'm not saying the current starting line-up isn't the best XI) for at least one game before the Spurs match.
