Liverpool are close to agreeing a new 12-month contract extension with midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The addition to his present deal, reportedly worth around £120,000 a week, will keep him at Anfield until 2023.

I mean, OK. He was good prior to his injury, worked hard to rehabilitate, and should be a major player for us next season. Gini and Matip's contracts expire a year earlier, would've liked to have seen them extended as well. Maybe they've been offered, just not officially inked.

Just saw this last week:
In 3 and a half seasons, Suarez scored 82 goals for Liverpool in all competitions.
In 2 seasons, Mohamed Salah has scored 71 goals for Liverpool in all competitions.

I remember Suarez was a very poor finisher in his first year and a half here. Hence why we thought Borini would be a difference maker cause we just needed a poacher that could finish, we knew we had someone who could create
Yea turns out we didn’t need him thankfully

I love extending Ox. He is different than any midfielder we have and is as good carrying the ball forward from the center of the park as any midfielder in England. It’s almost cliche at this point, but he really will be like a “new signing” assuming the injury hasn’t sapped his athleticism

Saw somewhere a while back, the add on year is a chance for Ox to recoup some money lost this year and reward him for his attitude and work around the club in a difficult time for him. Guessing the salary is somewhat depended on being in the squad or something.

We need Ox and Keita both back playing like they were right before they got hurt. I’ve changed my opinion though on needing a creative 10. We need someone to be able to keep us out of those draws that killed us when teams parked the bus.

Ruben Fernandes, please.

Bruno makes all the sense in the world. Ruben Neves too if we want a Ruben.

So if the leaks are to be believed, we start on the road at Burnley this season (that's 4 away matches in the last 5 years to open the season I believe)

Lots of rumblings on twitter about LFC locking up Fekir for 15m pounds. Would be a huge steal.

Fekir for 15 would be incredible.
Fun stat of the day, Klopp has never lost a 2 leg series as manager of Liverpool

Fun stat of the day,
Incredible stat of the day- Liverpool made a bigger profit on Kevin Stewart than Man United have on any player they have signed and sold since 2009.

The City game is same day as Bama/LSU. Should be a fun weekend

I'm heading to Ireland and then England with some Liverpool fans. Looks like we will try to hit the Brighton game at Anfield on November 30th. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to buying tickets. Any help/tips on how to get tickets for home games?
