Yeah we need this CL trophy or we’ll all rightly be disappointed in this season. On paper Barca ain’t got shite on us, but they do have the greates player of all time, so there’s that.

City’s just unbelievably stacked.

You ain't lyin', brother.

But I still say we're 3 or more points ahead in the table at this point if Burnley/Dyche don't pull a Code Red on Joe Gomez.

Just an unlucky injury

"Clean" is just another flexible definition.

I've seen plenty of hard, clean tackles in mid-field judged "wreckless".

And the one on Gomez was right against a damn wall.

So I'll agree to disagree.

I didn't get to watch, but I'm surprised the scoreline wasn't worse... United are fricking garbage... they haven't scored from open play in 527 minutes and their defense is atrocious...

I'd be disappointed if we don't win the league, but if we don't... I think it just boils down to they have the better squad, top to bottom... The fact that our team have lost once in the league, all season.. is amazing...

I said it before... I think we're ahead of schedule, given how far behind City we finished last season..

I think the perspective of 97 points would have won 25/26 PL titles is giving me a little solace, just goes to show how absurd City have been

Four Players named to PFA Team of the Year:

VVD
TAA
Robertson
Mane

Pogba was the only player not from Liverpool or City.

Also, not sure I agree with Ederson over Alisson tbh

Becker concedes two fewer goals and kept two more clean sheets. I can’t see the reasoning at all

Okay one more thing about this run in and then I'll just let it play out... one potentially important factor is we play before City the next two weeks... win and the pressure ratchets up on them and hopefully they crack

Should be nowhere near the squad. No Allison or Salah is absurd. And as much as I love Trent, AWB would have been deserving as well.

Obviously I agree with Alisson not being there is dumb, but I can see the argument for no Salah... Pretty difficult to leave Sterling out of that spot

I think a lot of people are forgetting that the players themselves voted for these teams.
If I had to guess, they really dont look at stats or anything. Which makes sense on how Pogba got in. Mainly because on his day he is/can be the best player on the field.

Only because people keep going on and on and on and on about his off the field influence. Salah has more goals, not sure about assists.

I think Salah is the victim of having a "down year" compared to last year... Also, Sterling has had his breakout season... I can't argue with him making the team...

But its voted on by the players, months ago... So, I don't put much weight on it..

It’s a tough time when your “down year” still has you in the top two scorers in the league...

How will he ever recover?
