Agreed... And it'd basically be a perfect ending to what has been largely a brilliant month for the club (outside of the Watford draw):

In the CL Group stage comfortably
Bulldoze a top club
Land two class players this season, and a great one for next

If I had known that I only had to ask if he was still separated for things to pop off, I'd have done that the week of the Watford draw.

I guess contractually he can't lean on anything until July.

Here's the deal. We seem to have the stones to do whatever it takes to bring in VVD. I think he will be in red. It also looks like we are prepared to send Origi and a shite ton of money to Monaco for Lemar which is unbelievable. My favorite is that Ox doesn't want to go to the defending champs but wants to be a Red, that might still be a back up plan. How we handle Phil is extremely vital. If we sell than the word continues that you can get top players from LFC as long as you have the cash and we won't stand up to players who push. We have set up a seamless transition telling his little arse to get back here and play this year and next year we sell him to "whoever the frick we want to" while moving on to Naby. Cou gets nothing from us the way he has acted and if he does not feel like playing then he sits but the footballing world now know that Liverpool fancies themselves a serious club that won't buckle to anyone. And if you doubt Klopp you can ask Sakho and Coutinho. This is a big moment for this club and the decisions we make can lay the ground work to telling people we are prepared to step up with the United, City and Chelsea's of the league off the pitch as well as on.
