I got crushed this week. I had 51 last week and got 40 this week. I haven't played this game yet, anyone have any advice on whether to take a 4-8 point hit and do some transfers or use a wildcard over the break?

How do real world transfers affect the game? Like Dempsey to Sevilla.

Moved on up to 20 this week. But my roster is full of guys that are doubtful. Hopefully the break will work to my advantage.

It all depends on how well your new picks perform.I'd have no qualms using it now if my team sucked. I had planned to be aggressive and use my wildcard after the first week,but I got lucky and used it without losing it after all.

LSU Tiger 17. You have a decent team,but your bench needs strengthening. You could probably get by doing 1 transfer per week. I would not have Torres as my captain.

Thanks for the input. I agree, I'm going to wait for the transfer window to be over before I check a couple of different options out for my bench. I captained Torres because 1)I was looking into my lineup and saw that on one website someone posted "if you can't captain a striker at home against Norwich, who can you captain them against?" and 2)as a Chelsea fan I'm pulling for him to up his game. Needless to say, Torres won't be captained any longer, and better pick his game up or he's getting traded.

Something's not right with Torres. He hasn't produced in your shirt. I'd question having Mata also. He's expensive and you never know if or how long it takes for him to adapt to the English game.
