i am pretty sure i didn't play last year 
*ETA: if i did make a team i don't think i kept up with it much, at all. i'm pretty sure i missed the first week and never made a team as a result (i could be wrong). i know i played in 2009 and did pretty well after a shitty start

I went ahead and bit the bullet and made 2 transfers. I hope 4 points doesn't hurt me in the long run.

Don't feel like using a wild card yet...but apparently I've bought pretty well. Next transfers will go towards strengthening my bench though. Anton Ferdinand and Tchoyi are shite options.

The one time I saw Tchoyi play he was very active in getting forward. I think he'll score a few goals.

Mata came in at a fairly high price. More than I wanted to spend on someone who had never played in the Prem before. Take Diego Forlan. Tears up the Argentine Clasura and is a flop at OT. Goes to Spain and tears it up. At least he made the scousers cry.

I might have to pick up Per, but my other defenders are in the 4.5/5 range so I'm not sure if I can really eat the 1/1.5 mil when that could be put towards someone with a proven record in the EPL. He might be worth the gamble, but I'm not sure. He is good with his head, though, so he could do well on set pieces. That said, I don't count on him having many clean sheets this year.

Got Per=championship!! But seriously I think he'll get plenty of cleansheets. Man U was an aberration where they didn't play Verm or Sagna.
