Ooof. While we kind of have to pay him, I hope he doesn't destroy the wage structure at the club. What will VVD want in a year or two? I like that we're sort of doing him last so that everyone else already has a new deal.
I also know many of our prior contracts (and maybe the current ones) were heavily laden with bonuses etc. So I'm wondering if some of this isn't as bad as it seemed since they were already getting paid more than it appeared their weekly wages were anyway.
