Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen. Not done but set to be decided today & expected 26-year-old will join #AFC - unclear which current GK would make way. Torreira pursuit ongoing - optimism but not done & #WorldCup  delays it

From Ornstein on Twitter.
Love the Leno signing and hope Ospina is the one on the way out. Cech could help mentor Leno.

It will take him a while. He will likely bump into someone as he is leaving, and it will require the physios to come check him out.

Fee agreed between Arsenal & Bayer Leverkusen - Leno still needs to undergo a medical before #AFC can complete the signing, for a reported €22m (£19.2m)

Arsenal have announced former goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is among a number of coaches leaving the club.

Lehmann departs along with Neil Banfield, Tony Colbert, Gerry Peyton and Boro Primorac.

New head coach Unai Emery will be joined by assistants Juan Carlos Carcedo and Steve Bould, the latter of whom worked under Arsene Wenger.

Dear #Arsenal Fans , I am sorry to leave the club after only one year again. It was a good experience working with the players as one of the assistant-coaches. But the attitude from our 2004-group is not needed there anymore.
Shots fired by Jens?

That's a CB, GK, CM, and RB so far. Deals done early too. I'm liking the new Arsenal very much.

For sure. I love it, we got cover where we needed it (rb) and upgrades where it was necessary (gk, cb)
If (when?) Torreira signs I’ll be ecstatic about our summer.
I would like to add a winger but I don’t think it’s necessary. Hope Nelson, Nketiah and Willock get their chances this coming season.

I've never seen him play for Leverkusen (or really paid attention when i did watch them) but he can't be worse than Cech who is declining at an alarming rate.

The injuries and the set backs did him in. I'll always remember him for this one fantastic performance against one of the best club midfields of all-time.

Smart move imo for Arsenal to move on from Jack.

I think it's a smart move for both parties. Sad to see Jack go, though. He had so much potential, but couldn't stay healthy.

My favorite Jack Wilshere highlight
