I don’t get why they’re trying to do this with actual clubs with history... it would be easier if they started 16 generic clubs spread around all the major cities of Europe

Given the fan reaction, they probably realized it was now or never. They could get away with it without the fans clattering them, which is going to happen. I honestly cannot believe the response from fans and especially governments.

Lots of reports of board members at these clubs who are against it but the owners telling them to frick off
