Now, can we get Chandler's arse back?
I think there is a reason he is one of two players that was on the roster against Honduras (when all the anonymous shite talking went down) that hasn't since been recalled.
The other player not called in since is Bocanegra, and that was because of his club situation/age.

He had another minor surgery last month, that's the last I've heard.

Yedlin's defense makes Beasley look like Mascherano.
I'll take it if he's a wildman going forward. I love undisciplined right backs who play as if they are wingers.

They still have to play Montenegro who's on 15 points and Poland who is on 13 points. Still a chance they blow it.

It's a joke...but they still have a huge home match against Montenegro. They are just one point up on two nations with two match days left, so it is far from secure for the Three Lions:
GROUP H
England 16
Ukraine 15
Montenegro 15

If Panama just needs a point to get the 4th place spot we should just have some sort of gentlemens agreement and play for a scoreless draw, just like Austria and German in the '82 World Cup

Seriously, how the frick did Panama draw at home against a 10-man Jamaica on Friday?
That could've fricked up Mexico's world even more.

Not sure if this has been said, but the most important player to get two caps is Bocanegra.
Captain America has earned these two games at a minimum. Let him wear the arm band for 180 more minutes.

I bet you love watching Sergio Ramos the few times he is forced to play RB. His cavalier runs downfield are a thing of chaotic beauty.

I agree. I figure he won't get called up to Brazil so give him one last chance to shine.

I doubt this would happen but I think Jürgen should give Julian Green a call and invite him to camp. He doesn't have to play if he doesn't want to but he could come and see what it is like to play with some of the guys on the team in training and experience a couple NT games up close.
I dunno, just throwing it out there

I just don't want a Gooch situation again i.e. important player getting hurt when we've already qualified.

We shouldn't call up any of the MLS guys--don't need them and it's right at the end of the regular season. Let the Euros come home for a bit and get a decent cheeseburger (or some Arthur Bryant's BBQ across the street from Sporting Park)

I wonder what Costa Rica does against Mexico. Do they let off the gas or do they go in for the kill? As much as the Central American countries don't like Mexico I think they go in for the kill.

Guys, thanks for the names, I feel like I'm catching up on the younger guys.
IMO we know what Cherundolo is all about. We have no real need to call him in in October and get him hurt on NT duty. I DO like the idea of making these "try-outs" for Brazil, but it's still a bit early at the same time.

I have mentioned it before but I would really like to see Yedlin get a run with the nats. His gets lost on defense to much, but his attacking is strong and he has above average pace. I'm just so glad we have two games in hand to get some fringe players meaningfully playing time in competitive games.

I would like to find at least one true creater/ playmaker to bring to Brazil. I love deuce like all of you, but the no.10 role isn't his forte, he's not a true facilitator. Mix appears to be the closest thing we have to a playmaker, unless we want to play Landon in the hole. I really wish we could've seen Feilhaber or Adu in the Gold Cup.

Gil fits that role.
