Funny, seemed his parents preferred to live pretty much everywhere else except America.

Musah seems more American than you.
Good one. I wouldn't have had to be "recruited" to play for the USA.

Hating the national team isn’t edgy, you aren’t edgy.
I hate that I have to hate the national team, but it's not our national team and everyone involved with US Soccer is a loser sack of shite.

birthing their children here
Yep, a free ride to an easy life on other people's dime thanks to archaic and ridiculous laws is something to aspire to.

US Soccer "fan": YOU HAVE TO MOVE TO EUROPE ASAP!
Player: *grows up playing in Europe*
US Soccer "fan": NOT LIKE THAT!

I mean I would definitely prefer our selected player pool to consist of players that actually lived here or on a base abroad rather than someone that was born here and then left ASAP.
I’m glad he chose the US, but I definitely get the reasoning.

I understand the reasoning.
But I don’t care. If he’s eligible for us and he’s good I’ll take him

The fact that 1a) he has the potential to be a great player and 1b) he genuinely seems excited to represent America make him really easy to root for. That’s all I want from our national team guys. Wear that damn crest with pride.

I think Randy is one of those types that are mad at US Soccer for wearing rainbow colored numbers or something political.
Yes, their weak, pathetic, moronic, social justice pandering is an issue for me. Sorry not sorry. Their utter failure to do anything right is another. Except for not giving in the moron women on the pay thing. Love to see those female jimmies rustled.

So all the Americans that are excited to play with him is a bad sign?
And Randy, do you hate Chelsea too? For the rainbow captain’s armbands?

City does that same shite. It’s whatever.
I have a problem with the national team using it just like I did with National team players kneeling. Idc what a privately owned business does in regards to their virtue signaling.

I mean, I’m not a fan of the kneeling since they’re representing the country, but the rainbow flag stuff literally doesn’t bother me at all.
Like, who does it hurt?

It doesn’t hurt anyone but I don’t have a problem rolling my eyes at it. Does it really accomplish anything?

That’s fine to roll your eyes at it, but to use it as a reason to not support the National Team seems a little over the top.

It’s just cringe and is nothing but virtue signaling.

Except that he is. He might not fit your cultural expectations, but he also reflects the interconnectedness of the world. Given the demographic outlook of the country, it is going to be even more common scenario than ever before.
