Our players are spoon fed bitches that have been coddled their entire lives. They have never had to grind for anything because our country prices out the kids that would fricking scratch and claw to make it because their futures depend on it. When you have to fight off that to make it, then maybe wearing the crest would mean something to someone like Pulisic.

Americans need to accept perpetual mediocrity unless a professional domestic system that includes relegation and promotion magically shows up, and the youth system stops being an unserious carnival show of traveling soccer for HOA parents to brag about on Facebook.

It was disappointing watching him play. I don’t follow the guy but apparently he’s be dealing with injuries since the end of ‘25. If he’s 100% healthy we probably still lose but I agree with the overall approach to last night. Everyone just seemed deer in the headlights while Belgium looked like a team with poise and determination. We just don’t see that type of competition often, unfortunately.
