Midfielders: Adams, McKennie, Tessman, Berhalter, Morris, Roldan

Forwards: Pulisic, Tillman, Reyna, Luna, Aaronson, Balogun, Wright, Pepi

Starting XI (3-4-2-1)
Some frick
Freeman-Richards-Ream
Dest-Adams-Tessman-Robinson
McKennie-Pulisic

What you posted is in line with what Poch has called in lately. I'd say you are accurate.

Yeah I would say that’s what I would expect and also my preferred starting 11. Only change would be Brady instead of Schulte.

Hoping Dest and Jedi fly up and down the wings and cross like magicians, and we knock in some goals.

With Dest healthy he has to move Weah back up top. We are so much more dangerous with Weah on the offensive side full time.

Mine is pretty close to yours, and I know it won't happen, but Jesus Christ Scally should be in before Arfsten. Even though Arften primarily plays on the left and Scally on the right, we've seen Max get absolutely embarrassed when defending good opponents way too many times. If Poch really likes him then call him up as a damn winger.

Arfsten also has more assists than anyone else since Poch took over.

We've also seen this with Scally in a USMNT kit.

Amazing that SF could make the switch from left back to goalkeeper so late in his career.

My only two changes for your starting lineup would be subbing out Tessman and likely using Ream only against a slower attack.

Do you have Miles Robinson out due to his injury or just not rate him? I would understand either answer.

FWIW I had a list of 31 players I created a couple of months ago. Agyemang has since gotten injured, so I’m down to 30 players.

The only guy you have who I don’t is Aidan Morris.

The five guys I have who are absent are Scally, Miles Robinson, and Musah (who would be among my final cuts and then Zenedejas and Cardoso.

I would swap up Aidan Morris with Cardoso and possibly Zendejas for either Gio or Berhalter. If I want to keep all three, I guess I’d get rid of Roldán .

What is everyone’s expectation level for the health of the following players for the World Cup:

Tim Ream
Miles Robinson
Johnny Cardoso
Tanner Tessman

Anyone else I’m missing?

I factored in my lineups only with CCV and Agyemang out among potential call-ups.

I think Trusty and McKenzie are better.

Looks like Cardoso is out for the World Cup. I’m not sure how reputable Sports Illustrated still is, but they have an article saying he’s out.

Can someone break it down for me like I'm a total newbie? How did Canada end up ranked second in CONCACAF? It kinda feels like when Wales had a high ranking a few years back, or like they figured out how to game the ranking system to look better.

They have been better than us since before Berhalter was axed.

They play somewhat disciplined. Nothing crazy bad, but not quite as “good” as Mexico either.

Especially now considering that Davies will, at best, not be 100% and, at worst, miss the World Cup.
