Is there anything to prevent the Russian billionaire from paying 100million euros a year for his luxury box?

If it goes into effect, the amount of number games these guys will play would make us dizzy.

I have zero faith in it.

I think Dempsey can do another five years in the PL (since he started his pro career later than most players) which would put him at 34

3-5 years: Dynamo. Book it.

That....and that Dempsey might not be good enough to start at Anfield despite being Fulham's best player.

I promise he is good enough to start for Liverpool. Rodgers wouldn't spend 1/3 of our transfer budget to buy a 29 year old bench player. The club's biggest need is a goal scorer.

Year before that it was Darren Bent. Would he start at Pool?

Well he did have 9 this year, compared to Liverpool's highest at... 11.

Well he's not a midfielder and yes he might start.

Bent also missed nearly half the season. 9 goals in half a season under mcleish is actually pretty phenomenal if you ask me. It would take Heskey 10 years to equal that.

I think he would probably start and he would definitely score goals there. The problem is that Liverpool can't afford him (or would need to spend that money elsewhere) and that he contributes nothing other than goals, it's like playing with 10 men but you get a goal every other game.

He wouldn't be a viable replacement for your favorite left winger?

Wait, I'm confused by your posts. Are you now of the opinion that Dempsey to Pool is a bad move because you think he might be benched? Because yesterday your complaint was because he wasn't going to a CL club. I can tell you this... If he's not starting for Liverpool, he's not starting for a CL club.

My latest post was sarcasm, of course I think he's starter quality at Pool. I think it's just a very small upgrade for him, and if a legit CL team hasn't offered him he'd be better served going down in history as Fulham's GOAT.

Liverpool have the most defensive fans on TD. Easy killers.

It's a lateral move for sure, at least in the context of the final 2011-12 table.

He would have no shot at surpassing Johnny Haynes. No chance.
