English people don't know what a midfielder is. The ball is supposed to go from the defense straight to a forwards head, straight to the back of the net.

Oddly enough, this is where Rodgers' love for the passing game came from. I remember reading one of his interviews where he recalled being a small, creative midfielder in his youth and just having the ball go back and forth over his head. So he transitioned to a defender just to get involved. Ever since then his philosophy has been based on passing and possession to allow even the smallest players to get involved (Joe Allen).

I feel bad for Andy. Dude just cant catch a break, no matter how hard he works. And he's probably the hardest working player we have on the roster, save maybe Gerrard.

I wouldn't feel bad for him. I love the man and thinks he has a lot to offer as a player, which is why I'm happy he is going somewhere that plays the perfect style football for him. That plus he is reunited with Kevin Nolan and I hear there are some pretty good bars in East London
