GAM doesn't play fifa because his character always inexplicably dribbles the ball out of bounds.
You know it.
Rosters were updated throughout the season, can't remember what rating Deuce had to start the season.

Regardless of all of this, I'm so glad that football has reached into my blood.
Fulham 'til I die. Come on you whites!

American owned with an american star? I think this is a marketing dream for building a bigger fan base in america. It may be liverpool, but if lebron is tweeting about clint, you know they well draw fans.

I got a boner when I saw the title of this thread, but it died quickly when I saw Liverpool. No offense to the Liverbirds here, but my opinion would be the same if he switched to any club outside the CL teams in the EPL. I will cheer on Liverpool anyway (when they aren't playing Arsenal), but I think it's a mistake on Dempsey's part.

I kind of remember him picking up a single point.
I predict GAM will be a 70. He was like a 77 in Fifa
before he made the jump to Europe.

It basically comes down to these two options
Stay at Fulham
-possibly become one of the greatest Fulham players ever
-have an assured chance of being a starter and celebrity on the team
Move to Liverpool
-get paid much more
-play for one of the most famous teams in the world
-better chance at playing Champions League football
-possibly still end up around the same spot in the table from this past season
-might not have a great role on team
-might be a regular starter
-will practice and play with a better degree of players (Gerrard, Saurez, Lucas...)
To me it seems obvious to move to Liverpool.

If he manages to get that good, Team USA will be in good shape.

all he has to do is score them one goal that wins them the premier or something to that effect imo

To be a LEGEND at a club with as much history as Liverpool would take more than just one clutch goal.

Winning them their first Premier league champion while being a yank I feel like he would be legendary even with all their history

Not their first.

They won 1989-90 in the Football League First division but they have never won the Premier League

Unfortunately, since its inception in '91 we've never won the PL. However, were Clint Dempsey to repeat his accomplishments from last season and then score a dramatic goal in Aguero fashion on the final day of the season to earn our first title, he would instantly become a Liverpool legend even if he never wore a red shirt again...that is how starved our fan base is for a return to glory.

If by couple, you mean around 6-8, then yes.

Actually, I agree with him. His chance at playing in the CL is only marginally better with Pool. With how they played last year, I can't see them being in the Arsenal/ManCity/ManU/Tottenham/Chelsea/Newcastle tier.

FWIW I'm bookmarking this thread, and will bump it a little less than a year from now. For better or worse...
In that case, I'll go on the record and say I think this move will work out better than people think.
