A shirt with a name on the back from LFC is $91. I don't know what percentage they get from that, but selling 100,000 will yield $9M.

They would just be fans of Fulham if that's all it took then..

Eh, I'm not sure. Access to watching Liverpool play is much easier than Fulham. Plus Americans like winners, and although we haven't won in 9283409283 years, our history is enough for some shitty bandwagon fans to make a decision.

You know, the more I think about it the more I'm curious. Wouldn't Warrior reap these benefits? They paid 25 million for the rights, so I don't know how much if any Pool gets. I wish we had someone that could answer that. I'm sure American sports, both pro and college are similar. I know Dempsey would increase US interest in the club and increase revenue. My point is 100,000 shirts to Pool doesn't affect them as much as say 100,000 Wigan shirts would help them. Is that fair?

Not sure how that all works, but I think you are arguing semantics. Wigan would obviously benefit more than Liverpool, but money is money and Liverpool needs as much of it as they can.

Clint Dempsey could probably win some games too.

I'm not really arguing anything at this point, other than the "significant" term being thrown around earlier. I'm not mad at people making money, hell Doesn't the Henry's own a chunk of Warrior as well? I'm just curious as to how all the money flows at this point. Not just with Pool, but everyone. I'm a fan of money and the saying goes.....the more you know......

Of course.....is there anyone that said otherwise? What do you think Clint's FIFA rating of FIFA will be?

I just thought the whole football aspect of the deal needed to be brought back into the conversation.

Wasn't it 80 or 81 this past year? I'd say 83 is about right.

GAM doesn't play fifa because his character always inexplicably dribbles the ball out of bounds.

FWIW I'm bookmarking this thread, and will bump it a little less than a year from now. For better or worse...
