You know when you’re at a Super Bowl party and people who haven’t watched one game all season or watch much football at all start chiming in about dumb rules and why they don’t do certain things different?

Well that settles it then

Ok, out of 9 guys that watch a lot sports and are the target audience/demographic 1 watches soccer.

But yeah, keep telling yourself it's really taking off.

This will be like every other world cup. People will cheer the US then football season will start and they will forget about soccer for 4 more years.

I appreciate that the crew earlier made it known for those that haven’t watched a ton of Concacaf ball who the ref was gonna be for this game.

You think everyone cares about the Super Bowl?

My baw in Christ, you're missing the point.

It’s gonna be all low block and Turkey constantly trying to break it.

Paraguay absolutely fricked right at half.

No, but I have a wider view of it. I'm the typical American very casual watcher. You're a huge fan and surround yourself with it. I dont seek it out and am surrounded by typical American sports fans. They don't really watch it.

Your love of soccer and my love of college football lead us to believe they are bigger than they are.

No. But all 9 guys watch the super bowl.

Do you think 9 guys who watch the super bowl would be the target audience for soccer or 9 people who watch Love Island?

That's the point. You are more likely to draw in sports fans than non sports fans. Stupid rules and rainbow kits aren't getting it done.
