Meh. He's not going to get in that MF and he knows it. I actually think we have a shot at him. And Cou, Bobby, and Reus as the attacking three behind Studge would be mouth watering. Of course that leaves the MF a bit unbalanced but that's textbook Rodgers now isn't it?

I just don't see a player like him moving to a team that won't be in the UCL. Pool has zero German influence. If goes to any EPL team it will be Arsenal.

I think Arsenal are obviously in a better position, intangibles considered. That doesn't mean we don't also have a chance. The one thing we have that Arsenal doesn't is the willingness to throw an absurd amount of cash at the club. I can't see you guys offering 45 for him.

IMO he is worthy of that price. We spent for Ozil and Sanchez. Reuss is world class like they are. If Wenger wants him badly enough he will break our transfer record fee. We have the money from real accounting practices!!

He was plan C of the names that have been brought up, but I'll be excited to see what Benteke can do at Anfield. He's a quality player that should make the squad better overall. I know many have concerns over how much of a difference he can make, but I'm pretty optimistic.

Yup. Not that this needs repeating, but this is it for Mr. Rodgers. Sure hope he makes it through December. Our schedule to open the season...not for the faint hearted.
