Apparently Origi has hit the post twice. He's fitting in already.

Sounds like they are playing in a monsoon.

What was the deal with Lazar last year? He started off looking great and the got that red card and was shite thereafter.

New League, new style, Brendan playing him at fricking wing back and inconsistently. Plus Sterling and Lallana playing on the right.

We have more Right Forward/Attacking mids than any team in the world it seems. At least Sterling is off the books now.

Plus I think Lazar got injured. He's too talented to stay down, I look for him to have a much better season. Same thing for Adam as well.

We won the woodwork trophy two seasons ago didn't we? By like a million?

Don't recall how we finished last year. Surely up there though.

Speaking of Markovic, that sick woodwork volley comes to find.

Wing back is not his position

Ideally, he'd play through the middle... but yeah, he's definitely not a wingback...

He could have 20 more on his new wages.

He's a dummy. Not really sad at all he's gone. The way he pouted/lacked effort was anti-LFC.

Even when Suarez was being cray, at least he was still cray and absolutely crushing it on the pitch week in and week out.

I'm all for guys realizing their dreams etc, and if you get 1000% the way Suarez did, it was much easier to forgive. Sterling was the polar opposite.

He joined the perfect club.

He scored a header. Although it was against like a 5-2 little guy.

The picture I saw is pretty funny actually.

Just finished the replay. Notes:

Hendinho - Is this guy Brazilian now? Rabona assist, Suarez megs, back heels, etc. He looks very good.

Marko - Its incredible how well he can play in his natural position. I know its TAS, but he looked worlds better than at ant point last year.

Origi - His movement is superb, his technical skill is wonderful, his finishing....not so much. Once he gets to match fitness we'll see how he looks

Ings - He dropped in well and seemed to be in the right place at the right time in the box. He scored a goal that was disallowed in a CONCACAF worthy display by the referee. As far as I'm concerned we won 5-0....it was that terrible of a disallow.

Ibe - Torched the wing for about 20 minutes until his side of the pitch turned into a lake. Not too much new insight here.

Rossiter - Looked in over his head. He was shaky at CM to say it best. If he's having trouble against these guys I'm worried about what it means back home.

Just finished as well and I'll add.

Teixera looked good as well but that was a setting I expect him to thrive in. Almost no on ball pressure gave him plenty of time to pick passes, but I admit I didn't think he had a future at the club a couple years ago.

Gomez looked pretty impressive bombing down the right side. Not a whole lot of action, but he's a good looking athlete.

The midfield 3 of Allen with Hendo and Milner in front looked nice. I know Allen's not a true DM, but I could see him doing a job there especially with how much energy those 3 bring so there would be a lot of tracking back and on ball pressing. He can be very good in that role recycling possession when he's in form too, so that will be interesting to see how BR uses him now with Milner.

Overall, I thought we looked pretty sharp considering we've had about a week of practicing and prep. Also trying not to forget that Aspas looked great on this same tour 2 years ago.

Brain just as fried too.

About out performance, so hard to judge against this kind of competition but they def. did look pretty sharp.

Ings and Origi will be solid options to groom but we still need a top top goal scorer I think.

Texiera always looks so badass in these things. Really hope he can break through, although going to be hard to push Cou out obviously.

Few transfer "experts" on twitter reporting that we made a £45M bid for Reus. BvB stated he may be sold, but only for their full valuation of £50M...

Get it done.

Would be the signing of the summer, although he's usually crocked.

Really hard to see him agreeing to join us though but hard to think anything but the possibility being awesome.

It's us and Madrid. My money is on Madrid. What do you do with Coutinho, Firmino and Reus? Spend money on Lacazette.
