yeah, I'm happy with the results... December is going to be a grind, with some tough matches coming up. I hope we can stay within sight of 4th heading in to Jan.

I hope we aren't putting too much pressure on Studge to be the savior when he gets back, but at this point, what else do we have? I honestly believe that a Studge/Balo partnership will score goals...

I just hope we reinforce the defense in Jan, and not by bargain buying... though I'm sure some of those exist.

Who knows, we all felt we needed signings to solidify top 4 last Jan. and we ended up going on a nice unbeaten run to challenge for the title...

We have a very attainable 3 points tomorrow.. we need 'em all!

LINK

The 15 year old wonderkid Martin Ødegaard trained at Melwood recently. Apparently he and his father are Liverpool supporters. I might link the documentary of him on the main board.

A 3 match winning streak sure would be nice for some confidence boosting. Especially with Basel, and Utd coming right up.

Have we even got a shot at this kid? Anytime I see where Real is involved, my curiosity ends.

I've heard Ajax and Liverpools name with Real also pursuing

As for us, I've heard we buy him, then loan him back to his parent club Strømsgodset and he trains with us during the Tippeligaen's winter months (Nov-April)

I think we have a good shot, since he (and his family) is a lifelong LFC supporter and it's his dream club.. though he said, that won't be the only factor in his decision..

If I was being realistic... he'd be stupid to go to Madrid at this point, since he would be playing for their youth team... Ajax would probably be the best club for him to get 1st team opportunities and develop the best..

Am I the only one that has seen on the ESPN ticker that Balotelli has been charged by a European soccer group (missed which group) for posting racist and anti-Semitic remarks on his Instagram?

Whats up with Borini? We have exactly 2 healthy strikers, and one can't make the bench for two games in a row?

Lambert goes down, we have no one that can lead up front. And Lambert can't keep playing 90 twice a week.

Here's to 3 in a row...

No, I saw what Balo posted, and while pretty dumb of him to post, I'm not sure how anyone can really be offended by it... He should know better... he'll probably end up getting the 5 match ban..

Our attack is simply more effective with Gerrard playing closer to the top. Lambert didn't seem so hot today, amd it took Sterling until 75' to turn it up. I think maybe they were looking forward to the Basel match. I hope. They surely seemed uninterested in this one until Gerrard came in.

Also, Lallana is a ball skill beast. Love watching him play. Markovic came in and made a difference in the attack as well. Even though they couldn't punch it in, I enjoyed watching that last 20 minutes or so. For the most part.

It was nice to see Markovic get some time and look like he belonged... I hope to see more of him...

On a positive,.. The defense has looked better with an actual DM, even being a very average one... Obviously, we haven't played the greatest opposition in this stretch

You guys make me feel better. I'm at work taping the game and you just continually see 0-0 and I think the worst. Sounds like we actually had some positive points from the match.

Thank you. I'll watch the second half. Of course then I won't be able to help myself by Tuesday and I'll watch the first half and wish I had never done it.
