Doesn't look like we're gonna get the optimal result in this Chelsea/MU match

Yeah, Chelsea seems to have chosen their match in Old Trafford to look more like Crystal Palace.

The only possible positive coming out of a ManU win would be that Tottenham would have more hope to overcome Chelsea for the top spot and the Spurs have games remaining with Arsenal and ManU at White Hart Lane.

Guys, it's ok. Chelsea and Tottenham are going to lose out and Liverpool is going to win out. It'll finally be our year!

Studge had a simple put-in from the left too.

Studge would have been offside at that point as only one defender and no gk was in front of Moreno and studge was also in front. He would have had to play it right since they were behind the ball.

Gotta disagree... the picture on the previous page is already after Moreno has shot on goal and Studge is about 1/2 step behind the lead defender if you look at the landscape striping.

Needs to be 2 defenders. Gk is usually one and automatic but was not in this case. Thus studge was offsides.

Anyone worried about Palace Sunday? I know it's at anfield but they've sort of rounded into form in attack. Their lineup is a lot better than their place in the table indicates. Have to think Benteke will play inspired ball. Just seems too good to be true that we can knock off our third consecutive bottom-of-the-table side.

Hopefully a glimpse at the standings will give our guys enough incentive to play balls out. United is 6 back with two games in hand

I always worry because consistency for God knows how long is not there. Good news is Sahko is not eligible to play and our 2 center halves struggle more with pace than physicality. Zaha will pose more of a threat from the wings with his pace. If we win this one I can't see united catching us with their fixture list.

I think getting Pulisic is a dream really
But if we do spend $200m a year like I'm reading
do you go for 2-3 Huge bets or more in the $20-30m
range and hope lightning strike ala Mane?

We must build viable depth for the rigors of European Football through a combination of marquee signings and proven reasonably priced players.

Gotta be a combo bro, or else why bother trying to make top 4?

It HAS to be a combo but I also feel we have players on the squad like Hendo, Milner, Origi and Livren who have a place on our squad just not first team. The key is to get players who come and step into those spots. CB (L), LB, DM need upgrades immediately along with possible attacking Mid and a Winger to push our established players. I think we are really close but these spots cannot have 17 year olds who are not ready to play.

actually think we're okay here. Hendo and Can is a good 2 deep and Grujic could be world class one day. Have Lucas in a pinch

CHRISTAN PULISIC

CHRSTIAN PULISIC. Quincy Promes wouldn't upset me, he has to be sick of Russia

if Christian Pulisic were an 18 year old Bosnian, I would say we need him. He oozes quality. SIGN HIM

Those sure sound good to me. I am worried about Hendo's long term health. They said that shite he has was going to give him problems but I do like our Captain......Pulisic is almost too good to be true!!!!!

One of those is not like the other. Millie really has been a top LB and a top pro this season and I don't see Klopp letting go of him. I'd be ecstatic with Sessegnon.

We don't play with a traditional DM. But we're deffo looking for a deep lying playmaker. Naby Keita would be gold.

On a different note. Read this boys and don't be chopping any onions while you are.

What am I missing? Both are really young and could grow into outstanding left backs. I hope we hold onto miner too but he needs a backup that can grow into that spot

I think Hernandez can be world class while WIllems could be very good... I'd take either...

Ideally, if you want Sessegnon, you would bring in an "older" guy while he acclimates.. If you get Hernandez (19), you'd probably scare off Sessegnon... Though that wouldn't be bad either...

I disagree on Milner... He has been serviceable as a LB, but not very good on either end... If we are fighting for titles, he shouldn't be starting there...
