Holy shite what a finish.

Simon Mignolet MotM for the 2nd week in a row IMO.

Firmino co-MotM.

What are you talking about? The ref isn't going to call fouls that aren't there.

You need to stop complaining about officiating!

I am so satisfied for the second week in a row. We NEVER finish games like this (Bmouth throw in anyone?). I'll take these ugly away wins all day. Alberto just cannot make a decision to save his fricking life!!!

Play it to the miles of open space to the right and let someone walk it in or shoot? SHOOT!

Hell, not just the right... Studge had a simple put-in from the left too.

Worst part for him is no one will remember the fantastic play to take it off the WB player's foot immediately before that. If he makes the smart play he comes on and effectively ends the game with his defense and assist. Instead he reaffirms why he at best should be buried on the bench and at worst shouldn't be at the club.

I was hoping he played in Studge...

truth be told, I'd have been happy if Albie scored... glad it didn't come back to bite us...

If he scores I'm singing his praises. But to miss that shot given the circumstances

Such is football, I guess. Either way I'm on cloud nine right now, and not even Alberto Moreno ruin it for me!!

Goal.com transfer talk (LINK)

quote:

Liverpool are preparing for a summer fight for the services of Borussia Dortmund attacker Christian Pulisic, according to the Mirror.

The 18-year-old USA international is fast establishing himself as one of the top talents in world football and is believed to be top of Jurgen Klopp's transfer shortlist ahead of next season.

Liverpool will have to contend with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham, however.

I'd only believe it if it actually happened but, damn, if it did happen I'd need a barrel of lube.

And, as noted yesterday:

quote:

Liverpool are set to join the race to sign Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Chelsea and Manchester City have shown an interest in the Netherlands international, but Jurgen Klopp is keen to bolster his defence with a marquee signing.

I'd have to order another barrel.
