Not a lot of Ulster-Scots down yonder?

Some, but the closer you are to the coast, the more English it gets when you look at ancestry. Go about 30 miles from Conway to Georgetown and it's all English ancestry. Go about 35 miles west into Williamsburg and Florence Counties and there's a lot of French Huguenot ancestry.

Like I said in the other thread only 3 of the players on the England squad would be the best on their club

In this part of SC (Conway) almost everyone from here traces their ancestry back to Northern England (primarily Yorkshire and County Durham), mine included. As far as clubs go, I have a soft spot for Sunderland and Millwall.
My family is from NC and my mom traced her English side of family back to the North East as well. Some were actually kicked out of England.

Funny you say that. This part of SC was largely settled by folks coming down from Craven County, NC.

I've done all the DNA testing stuff but really don't know shite.. think my family (for the most part) has just been here too long. On my mom's (from Ohio) side, I traced Germans born in 1830s and English in 1830s. My mom gets a region of Germany on her 23andMe that my tree says they were from (Illerich, Cochem-Zell, Germany) - which shows up as Rhineland-Palatinate where that town is.. wish I knew more about the more deep-rooted American side.
The two English that I saw actually from there were supposedly from Clipston, Northamptonshire.
My paternal grandmother's surname was Swint, which I have basically come to realize all are either in Georgia or another line in Ohio. So anyone with the name Swint in Georgia I'm 99% probably related to. Even the origin of the name itself seems iffy, but seems there are lot of them in the Netherlands and it was probably a more German name like Schwendt that was changed when they left Germany for the Netherlands.
Yeah I nerd out over this stuff.

England have such an easy path to the Final now. Should make it. England vs. Belgium final calling it now.

Agree with everyone here. They need to replace one of the defensive midfielders (Rice) with more of a creative option. And luckily they have a lot of options on the bench.
