Haaland is going to destroy once this team figures him out. He made a ton of great runs today that were just overlooked. It was like they didn't realize we have a 9 now.

KDB holy shite. That pass for the 2nd goal was absolutely flawless.

I have a feeling that as soon as we take a lead this season, goals two, three, and four will come quickly as teams are forced to open up and try to score.

Yup. When it happened live I was like, "OMG that pass!". The pass was way more impressive than the goal.
It's gonna be fun watching this play out as long as he and everyone stays healthy.

The pass/run combo on Haland's 2nd goal is going to be a real problem for everyone. Man City being able to score from midfield puts insane pressure on defenses, in addition to their normal style. His ariel threat is also going to really add another dimension when teams bunker.

It was unreal. Haaland didn't even touch it until the kick. That's going to help so damn much. All that passing around aimlessly when the box is clogged is over.

KDB to Haaland was like a FIFA video game wet dream through ball. Haaland is going to net 100 this season Unfair connection those two are going to have.

Great win today. Looked absolutely clinical even with Haaland being surrounded the entire match. Opened up opportunities for KDB and others.

As enjoyable as the win was; the massacre at Old Trafford absolutely made my day.

Watching Cucurella today, I’m wondering if we should have just paid the 50 for him. His corner cross to Koulibaly was *chefs kiss*.

When I noticed he took the 21, I thought this mf...
Then I read David Silva was his childhood idol, and I thought that was cool.
Then I realized David Silva being his idol meant I'm really old.

Newcastle def. deserved the point. Probably deserved all three. Are they going to make a move this year like City did in 09/10 and 10/11?

Showed grit to come back from 3-1 down. I just knew some dumb penalty in injury time would give Newcastle the win.

Kinda sucks to drop points here BUT KDB dropped yet another dime today on the Bernardo goal. He's been on fire the last 9 months.

Well we always seem to drop points early season so I'm taking it in stride. That being said, Newcastle is building something that will eventually have them top 10 in the table. IDK if that will be this year or not but they are improving.
Now to the game....I've NEVER seen Kyle Walker get outrun...repeatedly. Their speed upfront may be a problem for us with teams who can exploit that. Now more than ever this season, I feel the need to sign some help in the back. We should've never let Zinny go without a plan.
I hate dropping points to lesser teams but I was ok with the draw although Erling could've won it for us more than once.

It's been a while since I've seen City get exploited like that. Major props for resiliency though, that was a hell of a match.

Watch his positioning first half. Pep had him playing pretty high and centrally. Once he had him go back to more of a natural position he did much better. ASM is absurdly quick though. Hope Ake isn't too bad.

I assumed Ake was pulled for an injury but heard/saw no mention. Yes, I agree ASM is extremely fast. Not sure who else can compare in the PL. Was it in the second half when Kyle mounted that guy?
