If tweet fails to load, click here. This is just the Fox numbers, not Telemundo.

How is this even calculated? I watched almost every match via stream. Except the US ones I watched at a bar.

I assume Nielsen surveys, which can be horribly inaccurate given the small sample size and the fact you can just BS your journal.

Houston must’ve been all Telemundo, I know I was

Seattle is so low because everyone was at the game or watching at one of the dozens of public viewing parties.
It was every other park.
It was every other park.

do you think they don't know where you are when you're streaming it? You think if you were in mexico you could have watched the same exact stream you were watching in america? Everytime you watch something its seeing your location to make sure you're in the area that can use that stream.
it's 2026. they know exactly how many streams are watching and where they are at. My simple plex server can do that from my house. ATT and Spectrum and Youtubetv, etc can as well.

So liberal people really like soccer. Outside of the host cities that’s what I can gather

I'm in Orleans, so the numbers are right in line with all of that.

that’s what I can gather

For events that garner massive turnouts in bars and outside park watching parties etc, ratings probably tend even lower since so many people watch in public.
World Cup, especially when it's held here, is really like no other in terms of public viewing in many places.
This past World Cup in NYC must have sucked for anyone not interested. Even bars and restaurants that don't have TVs installed them just for the matches, public spaces were full of viewing parties, regular businesses had TVs in their front windows or right outside with people stopping to watch on the sidewalks.
You could actually keep up with matches while walking down the street due to the sheer amount of TVs visible and cranked up in almost every business.
I've never seen anything like it in the 20 years I've lived here. Knicks series, for example, had tons of people watching in bars and you could hear reactions to plays all over the city but nowhere that level of simply double the amount of TVs being brought in.

Surprised NYC isn’t on there just based on population and illegal immigrants alone

I can guarantee that Dallas includes Fort Worth and the metroplex. They all run together. Outside of Dallas proper, it’s predominantly Red (very conservative)
