He's an exciting player no doubt and has a lot of good qualities.. but there are a few question marks and he's not a sure fire success... that's why I really wanted Isak or Alvarez..

That said, I will totally back him and be on board if he signs with us... def a lot to like and be excited about it... and that rebuilt attack has the potential to play some incredible stuff.... and if saving money allows us to bring in a Rodrygo too...

Looks like the adidas home has officially leaked. Heavy Torres and Gerrard vibes and I am here for it. Can't wait to see the long-sleeved version Mo was wearing.

Assuming all the leaks come to fruition, or close to, i'll be getting a red long-sleeved, and short sleeved white, and undecided on green. All i know is that the green plus the gold sleeve badge will look pretty sweet.

I've got a pair of white/green/gold Adidas... It's gonna be its own fit.

Can’t remember a transfer window anything like this one. Isak wasn’t for sell and we went and got the next best 9 available on the market. After landing our #1 targets at LB, RB and attacking mid. Flexing our muscle right before the season begins.

Yes, £80m on 35 goals in 4 years across Danish, French and German leagues screams great value and not at all like a potential flop.

He's definitely got some question marks.. but he's an exciting young player, who is going to be playing with a helluva lot better talent around him..

I'll trust our recruitment team, now that the band is back together... a lot more hits than misses...

He's got risk for sure. Same thing when they bought Nunez. The key is their age where they can sell at a loss in a couple of years if it doesn't work out but they still carry value

Nunez will probably fetch 60+ from Saudi so it's still worth the risk.

Yeah and by most accounts, he didn't come close to triggering all the add-ons in his deal...

Ekiteke was always going to be expensive considering he has 4 years left on his deal and PSG is owed a 20% sell on fee...

If this is correct, as I'm seeing floating around, it becomes a much more reasonable deal..

Deal structure: €80m fixed + €10m realistic add-ons + €5m difficult bonuses. Total package could reach €95m.

Speaking of Nunez we beat stoke city 5-0 today and a behind closed door friendly and Nunez had a hat trick.

I saw Rio scored, as well... Apparently the first half was a front four of Mo, Wirtz, Rio and Nunez...

Sounds like Ekiteke is a done deal according to James Pearce. 6 yrs 79 million, 69 of that is guaranteed, Will do a medical and then meet the team in Asia.

So many judge Ekitike on what he did (or didn't do) as a 19-20 year old playing behind Mbappe at PSG. He learned a ton from the best attacking player in the world during that time but didn't put it together on the field. All the advanced stats show he is a world class target man. He would've been much more expensive in January after tearing up the Bundesliga for 5 more months. Chiesa did not travel with the team to Asia. Hugo is on board so Slot can go get a return on our $13 million January investment. I think it's great business and puts Newcastle and everyone else in the PL on notice.
