It's pretty good. The site that hired me makes it mandatory for their writers to have a subscription. I have a few complaints but it offers a lot of good numbers.

Adam Morgan's tweet:

WTF. He's English. His grammar can't be that bad. Although he was born in Liverpool. They don't speak English there.

Why didn't they use a contraction for the second "we are"?

The more I say the phrase with both contractions, the weirder it sounds. I think it may just sound better with only one contraction.

It does sound better actually.

I don't know. I'm just trying to keep our post number up around the Arsenal thread. We're going to overtake them this year!

Preseason doesn't even matter because when it comes down to it, the club that melts down the most will win the prize of highest post count thread.

We did pick up some new recruits this year though. Hopefully they chip in to the discussion. A lot of the time I feel like it's just you, me, TFTC and Meursault going back and forth.

You just might. And if y'all sign Theo, rather him in your red than any other squad.

Just to chime in here as Beast called for some newbie perspective.
What's the deal with Enrique adam and Coates?
Are any of them expected to contribute a great deal.
No one ever seems to bring up Adam when discussing this year. Will he play more than I realize? He sure did last year.
Coates seems to still be a year away with Carra still leading?
And Enrique. Will he improve on last year?
With all the talk of Carroll Suarez and then this years crop seems like these signings and their underwhelmment aren't discussed. They need to get contributions from all three. ( tho I wish Adams contribution would be to open up a roster spot for a youngster from the academy).
I'll sit back now. I lurk. But trying to feel knowledgable enough to post too!

Enrique will be a starter. He had a solid first half last season and a very poor second half. Hopefully he can build on that.

If Adam isn't sold, he will be a cup/squad player. Shouldn't get any EPL starts unless there are injuries.

Coates is still very young and isn't expected to be a regular starter for at least another 2 years (barring an injury). He started a handful of matches last year, but he is nowhere near ready to take the reigns at CB.

No, not this year. Last year he got a lot of matches because of injuries to Gerrard and Lucas. Once those two guys went down, Dalglish really struggled to give the squad an identity. Rodgers brings in a very specific scheme and not many people see Adam holding a major role in it (once again, barring injuries).

Coates is behind Skrtel, Agger, Carragher and Kelly. He will get PT in cup matches, but his PL appearances will be limited.

Hopefully. Like I said, he had a good first half and a poor second half last season. He has fitness issues and it visibly impacted his form. He is solid defensively and capable offensively. Read my article on how both of our full-backs need to improve.

Both were heavily criticized in last season's thread. Suarez of course went through the 8 match ban and that obviously hurt both the squad's form and his form. But with his international scoring pace on fire right now, we are hoping for big things next season. Dare I say 20 goals?

Carroll had a rough time last season and I really attribute this to Dalglish's lack of a footballing identity. He of course missed his opportunities when he got them, but he wasn't given regular game time and that obviously didn't do anything for his form of confidence. Watch this video and you can see his potential. He was close to being something special last season. Right now nobody knows how he will fit into Rodgers' scheme and it looks like he might even go on loan or be sold this summer. I hope not.

Post. Questions turn into good discussion. The more you engage the more you learn.

Taking a break after the Euros. Honestly, he doesn't need to travel. I hope Gulasci gets all the starts because he is the future.
