The club needs a proper CEO who is well versed in all matters football and can run the club in their absence on the other side of the pond.
I watched the QPR documentary last night and that was the turning point for them making it to top flight (at least that's how the movie was framed). I realize John Henry =/= Flavio Briatore though.

Seems like he may be a bandwagon jumper so I am sure he is on to Barca or Citeh now but I thought it was interesting.
Well I guess any exposure is good exposure. If they are talking about it, it's a good thing

The article was from a few years back. I would be pumped if he was/ still is a LFC fan. It sounds like from Mancs post that he still holds the club in a special place which I think is great. He is one of my favorite celebrities.
I included the bandwagon comment because I'm 95% sure I have seen him on MNF and at College Games sporting Tennessee Vol colors and I was shocked to see him affiliated with UGA now.
I hate the dead periods during the season for international games.
Looking onward and upward, does anyone know the specific rules regarding transfers in the January window and how they become cup-tied? If you play in the CL, are you ineligible for the Europa? If you play in the CL group stages but get knocked down to the Europa, then don't play in the Europa matches, are you eligible for Europa?

I know everyone is kind of down on Stevie g at the moment but keep in mind he hasn't been healthy enough to really find form the last few seasons and is probably low on confidence at the moment. Give him time, I'm not convinced he can't play the same role that sigurdson played for Rodgers at Swansea.
This. And remember, the Arsenal match was his third full fricking match in a week!! He was actually very effective against City, but going forward, we simply cannot afford to have him play in these Europa matches.
