I'm having a hard time understanding how this can be a good thing. At least Suarez says he plans on staying past his current contract.

"The truth is there's not much conversation with Kenny because of the language barrier, which makes it hard for me," added Suarez.

Suarez has scored twice for Uruguay in the first half against Chile in WCQ...

That Suarez just can't finish.

Like I said in the other thread, when I see these performances, I feel like he's just been very unlucky in the Premiership. I think most people agree that he's going to start finding the back of the net at a higher rate in the not too distant future.

I like where his heads at, play in the WCQ, to hell with the friendly...

Suarez asked if he's gonna be played agsinst Italy said: 'There will be no problem, but the decision is going to take the coach. I'd risk a lot if i played against Italy because LFC have a very important game next weekend against Chelsea, i love to play every game for the Uruguay but now they are several tough matches for LFC and they have to be my priority'

Bellers had a fantastic goal this weekend.

Suarez was charged by the FA. Please tell me he isn't going to miss the Chelsea match.

Son of a bitch
I agree this is a huge match before. Hopefully he can play because we are gunna need him so badly

He's playing. These are just charges that he'll have to defend himself against...if he is then found guilty, he will be banned (probably) but no disciplinary action will be taken until then. My question is, what the frick has the FA been doing for the past 5 weeks? No video evidence or witness testimony has been produced to support the claims. Now this shite is going to be hanging over his head for the next few weeks while we deal with Chelsea twice and a big match vs City.

They're cracking down really hard on racism. I know that John Terry is a shite human being, but the 'evidence' against John Terry that prompted the investigation on him for calling Ferdinand something was an obviously doctored video on youtube. They decided to 'investigate' and get everyone on edge for something that had no factual basis.

With the mixing of so many players of various nationalities, it is bound to occur that certain words, phrases, or translations will come across as offensive even though there may be no ill intent behind them. The only way around these type situations is for the FA to ban specific words...and the absurdity of that notion grows with every letter I type. This is obviously not a clear cut case of racism, if it is a case of racism at all. The FA, with their always impressive incompetence, should have sat both of these players down outside the influence of the media and cleared the situation up. Allowing SAF and his media minions to turn this into a shite show witch hunt is a disgrace to Luis Suarez, LFC, and people of common sense everywhere.

I don't think you should be allowed to comment on this situation if you haven't read that article.
I had withheld comment on the situation because nobody seemed to know anything. That article helped out a lot

I'm still not convinced that this isn't the case. The conversation around the term "negrito" is all based off of speculation that that was the word he used. Without video evidence, witness testimony, or an explicit confession from Suarez himself I just don't see where the FA is justified in levying these charges. Unless they have succeeded in keeping some incriminating evidence out of the media, what has been presented to the public does not warrant the blatant defamation of Suarez' character.

That is what I like about the article too. No one knew anything about the situation, so it was really hard to comment on it.
If the article is true, and the word that was used really does have different connotations it will be a very sticky situation for the FA.

I just hope Suarez scores against against Chelski. Get the three points this weekend Reds.
Posted on 11/18/11 at 12:20 pm to shelvey33
I'm not too confident going into these next 3 matches.
Posted on 11/18/11 at 12:47 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
I'll be thrilled with 4 points in the next 2 league matches (particularly if the win comes this weekend and closes the gap for 4th). Hell, I'll be stoked with a win at Stamford Bridge regardless of the City outcome. As for the League Cup, it'll all depend on who KK selects...1st team regulars or youth squad. Luckily, the schedule softens substantially after that through the end of Dec.

Every time I thinks that it's impossible for me to hate SAF more than I already do, he goes and pulls some shite like this. How dare another manager stick up for Suarez and try to foil SAF's master plan to smear Luis' name and run him out of England.
