Seems pretty excessive to get him a few weeks early for a meaningless tournament... but well done Richard Hughes, it pays for 1/3 of the Frimpong fee... a little consolation..'
Speaking of which, lotta talk Frimpong will be announced today..

I saw this morning that (either yesterday or today) Fabrizio said all papers have been signed, so the announcement and lean should follow pretty soon!

For some reason I didn't realize he is only 22... That's one helluva long-term investment!
Personally, I love that.

He's so freaking strong to be as small as he is. I look forward to watching him go to battle against Doku, Martinelli and Gordon in the coming years.
The ball he plays to Memphis at 1:15 mark

That's the part that scares me..
I look forward to seeing him and Salah combine... should alloy Mo to tuck in more...
I wouldn't be surprised to see him play in attack at times, perhaps when Mo is gone to AFCON...

I did not realize Frimpong grew up a LFC fan.

Not sure if it was done intentionally, but Frimpong being announced the same day as Madrid announced Trent a level of petty I can get behind. If not done intentionally, I’m going to pretend it was

I guess a deal rising to £18mm for our #2 with a year left on his deal, is fair..

I think it's a little low I'm not sure of his valuation but I would think 25 million for a possible starting PL goaltender

I thought the same initially.. If he had more than 1 year left on his deal, I'd have def thought we should get more... but not too bad considering and he was already replaced last summer.. so we don't need to get in a replacement and still have arguably the best GK depth in the league..

Whats the Future of Robertson and Mac?
Posted on 6/1/25 at 3:19 pm to Tmcgin
Assuming we get Kerkez, I think Tsimikas goes and we keep Robbo...
I can't see us selling Mac Allister this window.. he's so important to the team... When/if we do, its going to cost a lot of money..
