The reason I think we keep Lucho after the summer is because his wages are very cheap. Darwin is not cheap. Slott called him out in his press conference for his lack of effort at times when he came on yesterday. No coach at this level will put up with a player not giving 110%. Especially one that misses chances at open goals.

Turns out we got no real reward for doing so well in Champions League. Blame it on the stupid format. Blame it on advancing in Carabao. Our rest weeks became EPL games.

I was about to post that I don’t like this lineup offensively. Then we had a great corner kick play with a goal. Still felt that way then we score again. What the hell do I know.

That set-play goal from the corner was a thing of beauty.
Though not nearly as impactful, from a creative stand-point I would rate it higher than the Barcelona “Corner taken quickly!”
