Just a side note: Endo has already permanently endeared himself to me. He put in some serious, calm work yesterday.

Seems like Endo is it. Reports are that we bought him to start matches, no plans to bring in another #6.

Seems like a massive, massive risk. An unnecessary one at that

Unless it’s just too late in the window that Palace thinks they can’t get a replacement for Doucoure we should be paying up

We can’t afford to miss top 4 again

Andre in January is my thought along with another MF now. I can’t believe we are not going to sign a CB though. We need to go back to Edwards with an open checkbook and tell him he will have total control of every aspect of recruitment and transfers. Who knows what happened with him and Ward, there is sone behind the scenes shite there. I just hope it’s not reparable, we need someone like him bad.

I really dont understand the direction this team is going in, though I'm getting the feeling we may be done in regards to another DM and LCB... If the Gravenberch rumors have legs, what issue is he actually solving? He's a young talent who probably needs a change of scenery.. I have no problems bringing him, but only after we meet our needs..

If Endo is it, I'd just assume go back to the 433.. This current 3 at the back is really a 2 at the back.. I love Robbo, but he's not a CB..

Again, instead of a very cohesive vision/plan for a Klopp 2.0 squad, it just seems it's all patchwork... the summer started off extremely well, but it has floundered.. we still have time to make it right, but even then it would seem more like we backdoored into it..

Obviously, not privy to all the discussion being had, but so disappointed!

We HAVE to get a MF who is versatile like an 8/6 type. Gravenberch appears to fit this bill though Thuram would have been my thought but again price is an issue surprise! We better sign a left footed CB also, these two things are non negotiable. I feel ok with Endo, SB, Thiago and that 8/6 MF as stated above. I really think Andre is a January target big time for us and would have come in now but for the Copa.

Mac is NOT serving suspension for a red card after a successful appeal. Going to need all we can get against Newcastle.

Shocked…but thank God. Was such a bogus red card. The way things are going in the PL so far, the FA will be doing this nearly every weekend.

These are the games where they tend to play out of their minds and win convincingly only to drop the next match against an inferior opponent.

Newcastle can really defend. That’s what makes me nervous. It took City half an hour before Alvarez finally got a shot on goal Saturday @ home.

Konate doubtful for Sunday with a muscle injury.

We were willing to throw 110m at Caicedo, why didn’t we go after Gvardiol?

Who the hell knows with FSG. Nothing about the last three windows make much sense tbh. It usually comes back to them trying to save money.

Someone asked about why we haven’t sold Nat Phillips to Leeds yet? I was saying we don’t have remotely enough players on our squad. Phillips, mark my words, will be starting at CB in the PL for us by February. FSG has spent around 45 million on this Summer's big rebuild.

I’m in San Diego for a few weeks and am planning to watch the Newcastle match at Henry’s Pub tomorrow. It’s where the LFC San Diego group meets up. Anyone going or want to meet up?

Will be down to one healthy CB and desperate in the January window. Can’t wait for our panic signing…Kabak v2.0.
