Struijk has done an admirable job filling in at lb, but he’s definitely hampered the attack on the left side. He just doesn’t have the ability to beat anyone one on one to put a good cross in or aid in the attack.

Dude hustles but creates nothing in attack. Is also a straight up liability on the counter. Hopefully Firpo can ball out at wing back. Going to be in trouble if not.

Firpo/Harrison have looked good together in the past.

I thought Drameh was pretty good today. Had one loose pass but good defensively. Way too good to be 3rd choice RB. Surprised he didn’t go out on loan again on Thursday.

I’m still bullish on the season. We should’ve signed a left back and striker but it’s ok. Firpo will come back and Llorente will ride tPine to make way for Cooper. The Bamford golden boot tour starts next week.

Me too. I think i predicted like 14th. We ended the window in trademark Leeds fashion but we smashed it at the beginning and signed some good players. Sini is legit. I think we need to use Joffy or Klich behind Pat while Rod is out to help keep Harrison, Aaronson and Sini fresh.

S - for newbies to Leeds, can you give an objective take on Bamford? Is he a quality player long term? What/when is his ceiling? Team player or diva? Is he our 9 or is Rodrigo (or find someone else) the better player when truly healthy?

TIA

He’s the top striker at the club and probably the most important all around player. Last year was such a disaster because we missed him and his impact on our style and games. He’s definitely a team player. Rodrigo is more of a guy who plays off him who can also play up front. He still has the odd donkey moment like somehow missing that gaping chance yesterday but he’s a different class to anyone else we have in the box and at doing the little things he does. His first touch, passing and scanning are so good for a 9.

Since the year 2000 when they were in the champions league. They didn’t even show the premier league on tv here until about a year later

Leeds are planning to push again for Cody Gakpo in January, after crazy change on Deadline Day. He’s the main target… but there will be lot of competition. ???? #LUFC

We’re probably going to be priced out by then.

Kinnear already insulated himself a few weeks back in the interview he did on tSquareBall podcast.

Saying they don’t hardly ever make moves in January because the targets they covet are not available.

So I’m already expecting it to come and go with no movement. Hell if they didn’t make moves last year with the state the squad was in I don’t think they ever will.

Risk of relegation is the only thing that would get Radz the poor to sign anyone in January.

Checkmark guy says Rasmus is out 2-3 weeks. Should be ok with Ayling and Drameh there

Nice write up on Aaronson on Sky Sports

"American Boy" Aaronson
